Defeated Australians Wayne Grady and Greg Norman in a four-hole playoff to capture the 1989 British Open Championship. Owns 13 PGA TOUR titles and five international victories. Member 1987-1989-1991-2002 Ryder Cup Teams. Has played in 17 Masters.
