(1) A native Augustan who captured the 1987 Masters at the second playoff hole (No. 11) by chipping in from 140 feet to defeat Greg Norman and Seve Ballesteros, who was eliminated on the first hole of the playoff. Led through 36 holes in the 1994 Masters and finished third. Four PGA TOUR titles, and four international victories. Member, 1987 Ryder Cup Team. Has played in 24 Masters.
