(17, 18) Finished T2 at the UBS Hong Kong Open on the 2008 PGA European Tour schedule. Was second in 2007 in Europe at the Portugal tournament and also T6 at the HSBC Champions. In the US, was T6 at The Players Championship. Captured two titles on the PGA European Tour in 2006 winning the Celtic Manor Wales Open and the Deutsche Bank Players Championship of Europe. Twin titles upped his European Tour total to seven. Finished fourth on the Order of Merit, his best showing ever. Made his Ryder Cup debut at the K Club in Ireland. Second Masters appearance.
