(3, 10, 14, 16, 17, 18) Captured his first major with a playoff victory at the 2007 British Open. Started the final round six strokes off the lead. Also won the Irish Open, Irish PGA and Hassan II Trophy. Named European Tour Player of the Year. Was T7 at the 2007 Masters with Friday's low score (68). Also played exceptionally well in 2006 winning once in Europe and once in Asia and led the PGA European Tour Order of Merit for the first time. Grabbed two PGA TOUR titles in 2005. Won the Honda Classic in a playoff and captured the Barclays Classic. Scored an ace on hole No. 16 during the final round of the 2004 Masters. Also won his second consecutive Par 3 Contest that year.
