(17, 18) Making his first Masters appearance since 2003. Outstanding campaign on the Japan Golf Tour in 2007; won three times and finished second three times to top that tour's money list. Also led the JGT in scoring average with 69.85. Has won 14 career titles on the Japan Golf Tour. A four-time winner in 2002 on the JGT. Also led the Tour in earnings that year. Was the 36-hole leader at the 2002 Nissan Open where he eventually finished fifth. In 2001, was a third place finisher at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship and earned a tie for fifth at the Memorial. Third Masters appearance.
