(14, 16, 17, 18) Winner of the 2007 FBR Open in Arizona where he closed with back-to-back 64s. Also finished second at the BMW Championship and T13 at the US Open. Had a career year in 2006 capturing the Heritage and finishing T7 at Deutsche Bank. Defended his title successfully at the 2000 Australian Open. At the 1999 event he became the first amateur to take the title since Bruce Devlin in 1960. In 2000, he topped the PGA TOUR of Australasia Order of Merit. In 1999, was the first amateur to receive a special invitation to the Masters in 25 years. Third Masters appearance.
