Top 10 finish this year on the PGA European Tour schedule at the Indonesia Open. Winner of the 2007 Singapore event in a playoff on the European Tour, becoming only the second Chinese golfer to win on that circuit. Also last year became the first Chinese player to lead the Asian Tour Order of Merit. Competes on the Asian, European and Japanese tours. Became the first Chinese golfer to compete in the PGA Championship accomplishing the feat last year and will play in the 2008 British Open. First Masters appearance.
