(18) Winner of the 2008 Abu Dhabi Golf Championship on the PGA European Tour. Captured the title in wire-to-wire fashion and was 15-under-par in his four stroke victory. At 23, the youngest German to win on the European Tour topping the record set by two-time Masters champion Bernhard Langer. Recorded five top 10 finishes in Europe in 2007 including T2 in Scandinavia and T3 in Portugal. Also named Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year. First Masters Appearance.
