Defeated Davis Love III by two strokes and Greg Norman by three in 1999, and topped Tom Lehman by two in 1994 to become the seventh international player to win. Runner-up in 1991. Enjoyed the low round of the 2006 Masters scoring a 66 Sunday for a T3 finish. Former British Amateur Champion. Has won six PGA TOUR titles and 23 European Tour events. Member, 1987, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1997, 1999 and 2006 Ryder Cup Teams. Unable to compete in the 1995 Ryder Cup and the 1996 Masters due to foot complications. Has played in 20 Masters.
