Won the 2007 South African Airways Open and the HSBC World Match Play Championship on the PGA European Tour. Second at both the Masters and the British Open in 2004. Lost at Augusta to Phil Mickelson by one stroke when Mickelson birdied the final hole. Has six top 10 finishes at Augusta including second twice (also 2000). Order of Merit winner on the European Tour in 2003 and 2004. Won the 2002 British Open in a playoff. Two-time US Open champion, capturing the title in 1994 and 1997.
