Okay, now for the good news. And no, I’m not talking about the optimism expressed by both Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson in their press interviews today, which, yes, included me. Imagine that. Once I couldn’t spell journalist, now I are one. No, even better, for the first time this week… the sun came out. And the jackets and the sweaters came off, only to be worn wrapped around the waist or stuffed inside the ubiquitous Masters Tournament souvenir bag, which as I failed to note in my previous blog, is clear plastic with green printing. Who knew? I talked to a CSRA local (Central Savannah River Area) who was very proud of the capricious nature of the climate down here. “If you don’t like the weather now, just wait fifteen minutes.” But that’s what they said about the weather in Wisconsin when I grew up. And I’ve heard meteorologists in the Bay Area say the same thing. I wonder if that’s one of those sayings that every one thinks is regional to them? Anyhow, it’s supposed to get hot and humid later in the week with possible rain on Saturday. Well, as we say in the Durst household, “As long as it’s odd.”
