Daytime Drama

What’s a Masters, or any tournament for that matter, without a little drama from Lefty?
Phil Mickelson tried to play safe and hit a 3-wood off the first tee – and promptly pushed it into the left trees. He drilled his next shot through the green, the ball rolling down the steep shelf away from the back pin placement.
Bogey for sure, I thought, and turned to head back to the media center. I was stopped in my tracks by a huge roar.
Lefty chipped it in for birdie.
Probably with the wedge he put in his bag instead of an extra driver.
Look out for Lefty. He’s 1-under heading to No. 8, and aside from his histrionics at No. 1, playing pretty solid so far.
